The Great British Insulation Scheme
Originally introduced by the UK Government in August 2022 as ECO+, and previously referred to as ECO4+, the scheme has undergone several revisions and name changes. Throughout its development, its primary focus has been on providing support to households that do not qualify for ECO4. Now officially branded as The Great British Insulation Scheme, GBIS is designed to extend energy-saving opportunities to a broader audience in Wales.
